GENERALIZATION OF THE \(Ñ^3\) MATCHING PROCEDURE

To handle the case in which discontinuities are present along the matching hypersurface, in this work, we present a generalization of the \(Ñ^3\) matching procedure discussed in previous works. It demands that a solution of Einstein’s equations also describe the matching hypersurface.
