PROPER TIME IN SPACE CHARACTERIZED BY DIPOLE ANISOTROPY
Gladyshev V. O., Nikolaev P. P.
The paper considers the relativistic phenomenon of clock rate acceleration in a space characterised by dipole anisotropy. This space is assumed to be the equivalent space of the Solar System moving at a constant velocity relative to the cosmic microwave background. We estimate the difference in clock readings numerically for the case of an observer on Earth and a spacecraft moving along the Hohmann transfer orbit from Earth to Mars.
